I'm sorry Irv. No matter how much you prepare for it, there's no avoiding the pain. At least you've had some time to adjust to the inevitable. You have to remember to try and keep things in perspective, and that the last three years are only a small part of the rest of your life. There's a whole lot for you to do, see and enjoy...
Keep your head up and remember to look forward. You'll have plenty of time to look back when you're old.
